No staff both in afternoon and in the evening, doors in front of hotel unlocked, and restaurant not opened and no one there even when hours posted otherwise. Room cards were on the counter with names and card numbers but no staff again. No lights in rooms or activity and overall a odd location. "At first, it was strange that I was informed that my reservation was canceled, and that the room was different from the room described at the time of reservation. The owner only spoke Italian. However, when I arrived at the room, it was surprisingly comfortable with all the facilities. It was smaller than expected, and we had to use a double bed for 3 people, but overall we were satisfied. The wine they make is very good and worth the trip just for that alone."

"This was a great place to recover from a long international flight. It was clean, comfortable, and user friendly. The breakfast was outstanding. It is located in a small village where the owners also make wine for sale to locals and guests. ( and it is good). We are English speaking. If ever close we will stay again."

"Arriving at the ultra modern hotel we were dubious but after easily parking (free) we entered the vast entrance and we were quickly allocated our room with balcony and offered a credit for the spa. The room was modern and spacious with a very comfy bed. The fridge was filled with free drinks and in the morning breakfast was a dream. All the highest quality fixtures and fittings made this stay 5 star. "
