"The property has phenomenal views across the south coast of the island and the sunsets are magical. John and Claire are the kindest and most helpful hosts we have ever come across. The villa is very well appointed and furnished and set in a hidden location. A car is essential if staying here and you have to manage the steep descent to the villa although you can park at the top if you don't fancy the descent. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this villa. "

"A spectacular modern apartment overlooking the south coast of the wonderful island of Kefalonia. We had all that you could wish for from this villa. Our host, Nikos, was really welcoming giving us local recommendations, showing us around the villa and gave us 24hr contact info. We even got a gift of local wines and delicacies as a birthday treat. I can not recommend this place highly enough. A great place to stay!"

"A fantastic villa in a beautiful setting, the back drop has the wow factor!! Very well managed, Rosana is there for anything you need from booking excursions to taxi’s etc, she also owns a restaurant down in Sami be sure to check it out for brunches & evening cocktails! Maria is the daily maintenance lady & she is lovely too very good at keeping the place in order and always made us laugh. So glad we found this place & we will definitely return."

Host was responsive and helpful.Pool was one of the cleanest we have had and we were very impressed.Door to garden has no handle on the outside meaning you have to leave it open when using the pool. This is a design flaw as the house then heats up and mosquitos can enter the house.House has the electric on the key fob meaning when you leave the villa electricity turns off. Means you cannot run the washing machine or dish washer when you leave the villa. Also...

"We had a wonderful stay. The location was excellent - away from the bustle of the local town, surrounded by olive trees and very private. Yet, everything is within a short drive or a 15 minute walk. "We can’t fault our stay in Villa Marco. The views are spectacular and the villa was clean and well stocked. Andy the property manager was on hand every day to check we had everything we needed and even took away our rubbish. A car is needed here due to the location but you can walk to a taverna in 15 minutes called Esperides which is amazing. Thanks Connie and Andy we hope to see you again next year!"

"The property was on a lovely hill. The views were breathtaking. Beds were very comfortable and AC worked very well. The pool was perfect to cool off and just look at the views. Billy goats show up every morning on the hill (there is a fence so they are not on the property). Short walk to the main area of Asos which was a cute little town, restaurants, beach (water so clear) . I would highly recommend Villa Vivere to anyone coming to the area. "
