Free pparking was conveniently located nearby, which made arrival and departure hassle-free. Overall, a fantastic experience. "Quaint little place right off the River Dee in Aboyne. They have taken care to make sure you have all the modern amenities, but also retain a pub style cafe at the front of the inn. The staff were very kind, the food was amazing, and the beer was cold. I have been here almost 2 weeks and this was one of the best places I have stayed. Strongly recommend if you are passing through Aboyne. If you don’t plan on going to Aboyne, you should reconsider given the shine of this little gem…"

"Leslie Castle has been on our bucket list since 2018. We are thrilled that we were finally able to get there. The Castle and grounds are in immaculate condition. Nicola and John have done a masterful job with keeping the feel of the place authentic to the history. The rooms were incredible. Modernized but still feeling appropriate to the heritage. The meals were likewise excellent. Dinner was a particular highlight after which Nicola expertly entertained us with the history of the Leslie Clan as well as the Leslie Castle. Thanks to Nicola and John for their hospitality. We hope to return soon."

"My husband recently stayed at this lovely family run hotel and was really impressed. Before his arrival they even called ahead to ask if he’d like them to reserve his tea time slot in case it filled up, such a thoughtful touch. The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well looked after. They also went the extra mile by preparing him a packed lunch for the next day, which was much appreciated while he was working away. He’ll definitely be staying here again whenever he’s in the area for work. "

"My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location, nestled in its own tree filled garden, was relaxing and the hotel itself still retained the charm of the family home it was. We ate in the restaurant: the food was excellent, plenty of choice for two vegetarians like us, and the staff were very helpful. We also tried some cocktails which were also excellent. Our stay was relaxing, enjoyable and good value for money."
