"Elm tree cottage was the best stay I’ve had in Yorkshire , I visit often and by far the best place I’ve stayed the hosts were lovely and kind and was great to chat too! The location was perfect in a cute little village on a farm close to Thirsk and an easy drive to York. Providing the essentials for cooking and a cozy little cottage too! Would definitely recommend and look forward to returning in the future! "

The site is very nice and peaceful yet on the doorstep for great walks and places to see. Reception staff (Danielle) extremely helpful, pleasant and very knowledgeable of the area offering recommendations on good places to eat. Check out the Freemasons Arms in Nosterfield and Staveley Arms in Staveley, both very close by to the lodge. Food amazing! Head to Ripon...

This was fine for a couple of nights, but we wouldn’t have wanted to stay longer because the room didn’t have...

"Great location in Harrogate and had everything we needed. We were on the 4th floor but there was a lift. Advice to anyone travelling with lots of luggage would be that there is no loading bay and the nearest paid car park is a couple of minutes walk away. The street parking is nowhere near."

"The privacy and cleanliness of the pods, second time returning and I will be coming back for a third."
