"I noticed some places in the hall and especially the area where you go from the hotel to the walkway of the street on the second floor where there’s water damage. My concern is that the damage did not look fresh. It looked like something that’s been an issue for a while where there’s water damage. There is mold. Other than that, everyone was so wonderfully nice and helpful. One of the guys out front though at the valet needs to leave the energy drinks alone; he was a bit aggressive. I enjoyed my stay. I had a corner King suite with a Riverview and it was absolutely wonderful. I will stay here again. It is also wonderfully located because the walking and nightlife is fabulous especially on the weekends."

"We had a great stay at the Courtyard Marriott! The hotel was very nice and appeared to have been recently renovated. Everything felt fresh and updated, our room was very clean, and the beds were really comfortable. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful, which always makes a stay that much better. I also have to mention the coffee at The Bistro, it was SO good! We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Norfolk. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!"
