Rustic cabin in the woods

Cabin in the heart of the Missouri Ozarks. Beautiful setting with a lake just outside of your cabin. The lake is stocked with a variety of fish. There is also fishing gear and supplies for guests. Abundant wildlife in the area, every time of the day brings out different animals. This is a two bedroom with extra air mattresses and a hideaway bed. It will comfortably sleep 6 or more guests. There is a fire pit table and fish fryer outside for guests to enjoy. Come experience country living at it’s finest. Cabin is located off of highway 28, close to Vienna, Missouri and the natural arch wonder of Cliffty Creek Conservation area. Enjoy all the fun of camping without having to set up a tent. Hunting can also be available during seasons.

Cabin was very clean. Loved the little lake. Property is on a farm with a lot of different animals roaming around. (Cabin area is separated from the animals by a fence) The driveway to the cabin is gravel and steep, I'm glad I had my truck. Had a good stay.

We really needed a weekend away. We did well selecting this location. Beautiful property and the fishing pond is bigger than it looked in the pics. Very peaceful and relaxing. We would definately stay here again. If you use Google maps be careful, it sent us into someone else's property. It was dark so we didn't see the sign. Google the address twice to be sure. Dale was great and rescued us. Neighbor was cool too, and helped us find Dale.

This little cabin was excellent. We (3) came down for a weekend of fishing and canoeing the gasconade. Served as our “base” during the weekend. Pre-cut/good quality firewood was provided by the host- how righteous is that? The cabin and surrounding property did not disappoint. We caught LOTS of fish in the pond (bass, crappie, catfish, bluegill). ~15 minute drive to Dixon for anything you may need. The owner of the property was awesome and very nice and welcoming. We’ll be back during hunting season.

We had a great time! Fully stocked lake lost a pole to a monster catfish! Caught some big bass. Dale and his son brought us plenty of wood for a nice night by the fire! Plenty to do he has a farm with goats pigs ducks were cool to watch while cooking breakfast! Such a awesome experience would recommend to any one who wants a nice summer retreat! By the way some of the best strawberries I have ever had thank you and your family for the greatest hospitality!

A cute little cabin with all the necessities you need. A clean and stocked fishing pond, beautiful and friendly farm animals, complete privacy, welcomed by gracious and friendly owners who were more than hospitable. What more could you ask for?? I wish I could give it a 10! I highly recommend especially if you like to fish!!
