"My stay at Scandic Sondra Kajen was absolutely perfect! The location is very close to the ferry— safe, and with very easy access to public transportation. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options to start the day right. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. "The promo for this hotel on Expedia was very misleading. We wanted to stay on or near Vaxholm. This hotel ad claims to be right near Vaxholm but it is nowhere near it, unless maybe you have private transportation We paid for the room at a non refundable rate . It is hard to get to Vaxholm from this hotel without a car. We therefore could not stay at the hotel. In fact, we immediately realized that as soon as we made the reservation and called the hotel and contacted Expedia but Expedia said...

"We had a very nice stay here. It was very cozy and comfortable. If people are sensitive to noise, this might not be the best because it was close to a busy street. However, it wasn’t a problem for us. It’s centrally located with shopping close by. Our host was very helpful which we really appreciated. She gave us some useful tips."
