For instance, the rooms could benefit from a deeper clean and some modernization, including the windows, regardless of the room category. Additionally, the breakfast option was limited, ...

This hotel is very well located. You can walk from Central Park to Times Square. It is close to subway stops. While very elegant, it could use some updating in the common areas and rooms. The rooms are quite spacious but could use some redecorating. The staff was friendly and helpful.

A great location and a comfortable stay. Each room has a fully equipped little kitchen which is great for longer stays. The staff are very helpful and friendly and amazingly, they let us do our laundry for free. I highly recommend this place and would use it again!

Though St. John's Riverside Hospital - Dobbs Ferry might be what brings you to town, perhaps you'll have a chance to explore more of Dobbs Ferry while you are here.
I work in Dobbs Ferry so this was super convenient.
We are just passing through on our way to Rhode Island. So we did not tour around Dobbs Ferry. I will say thiugh that Bronxville, (down the street) is candy sweet.
Dobbs Ferry is a very quaint town. My daughter and I were visiting Mercy College. I could see my daughter living in this community and feeling very safe about her being away at school.
Pretty area quite unlike the madness of NYC.
