We loved the executive room. The drive to Haustston beach is short and pleasant. We love the food, especially the fried oyster.

This was my second stay. Friendly, helpful staff, good roast in the restaurant. We had a nice room which was an upgrade as the hotel wasn't very busy so that was a welcome surprise. I'm sure we will return as we enjoy Norfolk and this is a good base to explore further.

Nice room and bathroom. Room seemed clean. Staff were helpful. Food and drink in the pub were good especially breakfast.

Excellent village pub with great staff and atmosphere that matches its surroundings and in keeping with good old inn values. The chef provides a great variety of flavors and quality dishes all served hot and on hot plates. The stairs are somewhat challenging for the elderly and mobility impaired. I didn’t realize when booking that I could have requested a ground floor room. My bad - should have read the small print. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

We enoyed the doubly “smart” room — both the clean, modern decor and the motion-activated automatic lights for the main stairs (though they take time to come on) and the bathroom (shut the bathroom door when not in use so you don’t trigger those lights when you walk around in your room). Such an easy check in / check out experience and such a lovely and conscientiously maintained facility. It was so so so so so lovely and I would totally stay here again. Also the cake was really good- they give you cake in your room!!!

Me and my dog had a lovely relaxing 4 night stay at court yard view. This was our frist time away together. I have only had him for five months. We stayed in pebbles stable. It was very welcoming, clean, warm and cosy. It had everything that was needed. I had very good night sleeps in the comfortable bed. Great property with lovely staff. The weather wasn’t great so we spent an afternoon in the lounge catching up with friends who were also staying. Would definitely return to do all the outdoor activities we missed this time around.

Lovely 3 night stay. Rooms were comfortable and nicely decorated. We booked two rooms and were assigned one in the courtyard and one in the main building. Wells-next-the-sea is a lovely town, and The Quay has easy access to great food and the beach area, not to mention the gelato shop right next door. It’s cute and easy to access.
