You get what you pay for and this hotel is very cheap. It's grotty and run down. But not unhygienic. I would say it's one step up from a hostel and you get your own room. But the hotel is SERIOUSLY dilapidated.

Near the Museum of Islamic Art

While this is an older hotel based on the wear and cleanliness of the room, it has a fantastic location and a helpful staff. It is walking distance to the Museum of Islamic Art, which makes it accessible to other sights as well. There are many local eateries nearby and a mini-market for fruits, vegetables, and snacks. The staff was helpful in meeting my requests for toilet paper and such. They also offered an airport shuttle for 25 QAR.

Property is conveniently located. Staff were friendly and helpful but the quality of the room and facilities within were very poor. The carpet was dirty and had cigarette burns paint was peeling off the walls.

Budget hotel in good location. I left early in the morning before the restaurant opened and asked if they had tea. The manager dropped what he was doing, took me to the restaurant, put on the kettle and made me a cup of tea.

Nice hotel near the MIA

You get what you pay for. It’s an affordable and nice hotel in a busy location in midtown. It’s near the main bus station and the Museum of Islamic Art. Staff is super friendly. It would be better if breakfast was included.

zentral und preiswert

hotel ist schon sehr in die jahre gekommen u aussich waere zumindest im 8. stock wunderbar aber seit erbauung wurden wohl nie die fenster geputzt und oeffnen laesst sich auch keines. nachts bisweilen laut. lage sehr zentral u angenehm fuer lokalen tourismus. restaurant mittelmaessig. personal recht bemueht und freundlich.

スークワキーフに近く、買い物しては宿に荷物を置き食事に出かけたりと立地は便利です。 建物は古いですが、値段が安いので私は全く気になりませんでした。 シャワーのお湯が出なく最初は凍えながら水を浴びましたが、カランに切り替えるとお湯が出る事に気付き、カランでお湯になったらシャワーに切り替え、ぬるくなったらまたカランに切り替えるを繰り返しシャワーを浴びました。 こういう事も含めて旅が好きな私は気になりませんが、シャワーに注意です。 ホテル周辺はバングラデシュの飲食店が多かったです。スーパーも近くにあります。

Budget hotel in good location

Wifi was awful. The room was basic but perfectly functional. Large, firm bed, hot shower with bath tub and curtain, toilet, fridge. Overall very clean. The room itself was pretty big and so was the bathroom. Reception made me pay in cash though I had already pre-paid with Expedia, PLUS they wanted me to pay an even higher rate than I had already paid. They didn't speak much English and it was impossible to explain. I paid anyway and said I would sort it out later with Expedia. Then they recognized their error and asked me to come back down to reception to get my money. They didn't give me back all my money, whatever, but nearly all. While I was getting my money back, another guest started harassing me and his hands were all over me. Reception didn't say a word. Luckily a security guard intervened. I asked reception how much the shuttle bus was to the airport, and first she said 25, then she switched to 50, and then the phone rang and she proceeded on a very lengthy personal call. It was not in Arabic. After I got tired of waiting, I went back to my room.

Great Proximity to Sights

This hotel is very close to the Museum of Islamic Art and Souq Waqif! Both are within a 10 minute stroll as is the Corniche! The staff were helpful, the room was spacious! The facilities were basic! It was okay for a one night stay!

A melhor opção em Doha

Fui muito bem recebido, houve um pequeno atraso na liberação do apartamento mas me deram um apartamento maior do que o esperado e com amplas vistas da cidade. Hotel simples mas muito agradável. Localização excepcional.
