"A great historical property which is not too far from the main roads. A converted church, so voices tend to carry. Great for solo travellers because you can get a room for one person. Bathrooms have all amenities, but could use a larger floor mat outside of shower, floors were a little slippery. Inside main quarters, beautiful stained glass and ceiling features. Front desk was very helpful. "

"Brilliant idea letting out students rooms at the summer break, beautiful settings and loads of amenities locally. The “Scran”restaurant brilliant,tasty food and great staff and prices. There is a shop and a chemist on grounds. Scenery beautiful.rooms basic and comfortable.communal area for making lunch,tea etc My only criticism would be maybe too basic rooms,no hand towels or anywhere to put your shampoo etc in shower. "Nice property for the most part. Didn’t realize and wasn’t told bedrooom is below ground with no windows for courtyard suite but it didn’t bother us after all. Clothes washer was a bit dirty but was free to use."
