This is definitely one of those ideal locations due to the central position and excellent road network allowing travel by car to both Edinburgh and Glasgow within an hour.
The lodge is ideal for either a family or two couples. There are two bedrooms, one fitted as a small twin and the larger room with kingsize bed and en-suite toilet. The main living space is positioned to enjoy that stunning view and with French doors that open to a decking area for those sunny days, it’s ideal for enjoying the breeze or even just watching the colours change. The dining space and kitchen are open to the living room, ideal for those yummy meals either before or after a day out, or enjoying something that perhaps will have been delivered from one of the local takeaway restaurants. The kitchen has everything needed to prepare and enjoy your meals. The main shower room completes the property and has a larger shower base providing a taste of luxury. The small town, or large village of Dollar is a charming and pretty place in the ’Wee County’ of Clackmannanshire. Nearby the city of Stirling is home to the castle and National Wallace Monument. Both provide a superb day out, and the view from both out towards the Trossachs and Loch Lomond is frankly one of the most beautiful in the country. Golfers will enjoy tours of the local courses and some a little further afield. Gleneagles is surprisingly nearby and the resort boasts a number of additional attractions, activities and restaurants. Take a day trip to St Andrews on the East Coast and stop off on some of the small towns and villages along the way. This is where you’re guaranteed to stumble across a few hidden treasures of either shops or eateries that let you experience proper Scotland.
