"It was disgusting. There was mold in the carpet, dirt and dust and crass in every room corner, a smell of rot everywhere, humidity in the air... without mentioning the little surprises like the used q-tips on the fireplace, the yellowish bathrobe hanged on a rusty nail in the bathroom, the single sock in our bedding... I haven't received a single message of the owner. I asked for a refund. It wasn't sanitary."

"Just returned from an 8 night stay at this amazing cottage. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a little taste of Scotland and a quiet beautiful retreat from everyday life! The cottage kitchen was lovely as well as having plenty of living space...the bedrooms were also great and comfortable for all the members of our party. The owner was very pleasant and greeting us our first day and awoke very early on our departure day to say goodbye!! I would definitely stay there again!!"

"The Paddock is stunning! Set in an almost silent cul-de-sac and surrounded by large, beautiful houses, this was the most impressive property we gave ever stayed in. It was very comfortably furnished with plenty of settees and chairs, four fully reclining and beanbags, to suit everyone. "We loved staying here, in the quieter area of South Queens ferry. The hotel is a 30 second walk from the bus stop, and close to the airport, which was awesome and made getting around very easy. They also offer free airport shuttle Monday-Friday, which we greatly appreciated. The beds are AMAZING! Everyone warned me Scotland would have awful beds, but Dakota's bedding and mattress were so soft and so comfortable. The restaurant downstairs was wonderful, and the food was top tier. The Sunday Roast was massive, and so incredibly tasty. All of the servers and hostesses in the dining area were phenomenal, as well. The front staff were so sweet and helpful, especially Chloe and Niamh! Chloe spent a lot of time explaining the best ways to get around and what to sight see. They were always pleasant, even when it was crazy busy in the hotel. If I'm fortunate enough to return to Edinburgh, I would 100% stay here again"
