Personnel there ranges from: exceptionally sweet young woman - who carried our heavy suitcases up two steep stairs (no elevator) - to a very unfriendly male. Requests like - making a call on our behalf to a beauty salon - were met with dismay (by the male).

"I can honestly say the accommodation and area surpassed our expectations. Communication with RenĂŠ was incredibly efficient before and during our stay, including recommended restaurants and local events taking place during our stay. Location of the property is perfect for what we wanted - close to the centre of Avoine and it's facilities, but secluded and not overlooked. The garden is fantastic with an outside dining area, parking area, garage for storing cycles and a lovely sitting area under a beautiful Albizia tree. The property itself is well equipped to a high standard and the perfect size for us. We hired bikes from Chinon for the week and made good use of the cycle routes and small quiet well maintained roads to visit places instead of using the car all the time. Would return for future visits without question!"
