" We had a very comfortable and enjoyable 2-week holiday staying in this charming and very well-equipped property. The property is light, airy, spacious and effectively can be used as a holiday for two families or groups should they want or need their own space. Laurence lives very close by and was very easy to contact. She was friendly, pleasant, attentive, and helpful and not in any way intrusive. The online pictures are a very accurate representation of the house and gardens. The property has easy access to several chateaux and interesting local towns (Chinon, Bourgeuil, Saumur, Langeais) and is a 5-minute drive from Azay-le-Rideau. The downstairs bedroom is wonderfully cool in hot weather and quiet. The owner supplied plenty of good fans to use in the hot weather in other parts of the house. The surroundings and gardens were extensive, very attractive and quiet affording lots of privacy and different areas for our family to enjoy relaxing and playing and ready access to local and immediate walks in adjacent forests. A delightful spot. This is a very good area for cycling providing varied and interesting routes either near to the Loire river or through pretty villages. The swimming pool is heated and secured and is in the garden which makes it very convenient and a great asset to your holiday."

"Lovely loft apartment- although hot on arrival ( it was hot in France at that time) we had lots of fans to cool us down. The apartment had everything we needed and the Jacuzzi was wonderful after being out in the day.Supermarket, restaurants all very close so the location was very convenient. The BBQ was a bonus."

"Well appointed gite in a very quiet hamlet very close to Azay-Le-Rideau. The gite has been well renovated, has a large garden and is very weĺl equipped. The hosts were charming and helpful and although they lived next door, were very unobtrusive yet always available for advice/help. Would be very happy to come back again."

"The property is in a great location for visiting the Loire near Langeais. Spacious, clean and well-equipped it suited our group of 5 very well - we even made good use of the pétanque. We were made to fee very welcome by our host. We would recommend and be happy to start there again. "

"We had a great 8 day stay with the family, including 2 people with reduced mobility. Plenty of space for 8 people in a beautifully presented house. The indoor swimming pool was perfect for hydrotherapy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the surrounding areas."

"Patricia and Pierre are lovely, warm people who made us very welcome. The gite is spacious and set in very pleasant grounds. The swimming pool looked super but sadly, due to the cold weather, we were unable to use it. The log fire was wonderful for the cold nights. The area around is fully of interesting château to visit.fur the cold evenings. "
