The pool and hot tub seemed maintained, quite often. The sana in the ladies room never had water in the bucket for the stones. But the view is beautiful. The location is pretty good. Don't mind the sea lions talking loudly. They just have a lot to say. "

"Room was clean enough, we stayed there because it is pet friendly and a good location. Very basic, glad I brought my own instant coffee and cup since there is nothing but a fridge and microwave. Also glad I brought earplugs, the walls are thin and our neighbors had young kids. Overall the hotel was just ok for why we were there, just a place to sleep. I’d stay again if that’s all I needed, it is not a resort if that’s what you’re looking for."

The rooms are individually decorated in concert with the literary theme of the hotel, which is filled with books in every nook and cranny, and furnished with comfy club chairs.
