"Accommodation was fine. Lovely little pub 5 min walk from property. Only problem was getting the key from reception as they said didn't seem to know we were arriving. They also couldn't find the key after speaking to the owner, eventually gave me the spare key but it was a bit stressful at the time. I must point that this was reception's fault and not the owner of the property."

"A superb apartment in the heart of Harlingen. Near to the center and walking distance to everywhere. Furnished to a high standard with everything you needed. The host, Frank was especially nice, let us store our bikes in his garage. We will most certainly stay there again."

"I stayed here for 6 nights with my wife and we really enjoyed it. The town is very quiet but it's a short drive to cities like Leeuwarden and Harlingen for activities. There is a grocery store in the next town over so it's a quick drive or bike ride if you need to pick up anything. Two bicycles are provided for use so I would hop on after dinner and explore the beautiful countryside. The property is spacious for two adults and very clean and comfortable. "This quiet back-water close to the town of Makkum makes an ideal base for chilling out and communing with nature. For the bird-lover the area teems with wildfowl. We heard a Bittern. We used the spacious accommodation as a base for cycling and were not disappointed. The hosts were kind and considerate. Home-produce was available from this small-holding."

"Our Holiday in grou was wonderful. The house was really well equipped and big enoug for all of our family + our dogs. The garden is surrounded by fences and hedges. That gives you a lot of privacy and you don`t have to worry about the dogs. The garden is big enough for playing tabletennis and badminton, which we did a lot :-) Moreover there is a little ferry 5 minutes away, which brings you to the city center for shopping or visiting restaurants or doing some waterspouts. "Obwohl der Wettergott nicht so ganz auf unserer Seite war haben wir einen traumhaften Urlaub erlebt. Das Haus ist wunderschön eingerichtet und sehr gemütlich. Mein Lieblingsplatz war am Fenster mit Blick auf den Kanal und die vorbeifahrenden Schiffe . Auch von den Ausflüge in die Umgebung mit den kleinen gepflegten Orten haben wir sehr genossen. Rundum ein traumhafter Urlaub den wir hoffentlich bald wiederholen werden"
