The hotel and the team from , reception to housekeeping to restaurant team were perfect. Nothing was too much trouble. "This is our third time staying at Green Haven and each time we have opted for the Barn Owl cabin which is perfect for me and my wife and our little Chorkie. Previously we have stayed for only the one night but we enjoyed it so much that this time we opted for a two night stay. As with every time we were greeted like friends and made to feel so welcome. Keeley informed us that a fan had been put in the cabin which was a lovely touch considering it was so hot. We had brought a small fan with us, but this one was so much bigger and made sleeping on the comfy bed a pleasure. There was also a very nice, large parasol giving us and our pooch plenty of shade when enjoying our BBQ, the facilities of which are also provided. Green Haven is a beautiful place to stay. It’s so tranquil and it’s so nice to see birds and butterflies you don’t see in the towns and cities. Our dog loves to wander around the grounds sometimes doing three or four circuits. There is a dog friendly gated decking area too so we can safely let him off the lead. There is a big fishing pond (or is it a small lake) but to be honest it’s not for us. I can’t recommend Green Haven enough. We love it and can’t wait to return."

"We had a great stay here, lovely quiet area, we found on a last minute stay and it’s a little gem, it’s a short drive to Skegness as that was our intention for the stay however we didn’t mind that, it’s nice that they accommodated for more than 2 children in the room share as we have 3, the owners are lovely and made us feel comfortable from the get go, the only issue we had was the shower, we found the water was far to hot to shower the kids even on the lowest setting which would have been difficult if we had decided to stay longer than a night, breakfast was nice and was asked what time we preferred to have it which with 3 children it’s chaotic in the morning so it made it easier not to have to rush down "

"Such a beautiful river side hotel with a lovely little court yard as well as a bar, restaurant and coffee shop . Great choice of comfy seating either inside or on the out door terrace by the side of the river in a lovely setting with a view of the beautiful church which unfortunately wasnt open.We had breakfast and dinner which were excellent and reasonably priced too. Lovely comfy clean and spacious room with complimentary tea coffee hot chocolate and biscuits.The only downside: our room was at the back and due to the very warm weather we left our window open. Unfortunately we could hear the noise of the local night club making it very difficult to sleep . Although if the window had been closed it probably woudnt have been as bad. The areas surrounding dont do the hotel justice as it has seen better days with a lot of either empty or derelict shops/ buildings which is such a shame."
