"I have visited Baška several times starting in 2003. Nothing much has changed except that things are a little more expensive since going to the Euro. Baška is still a great place for a truly relaxing beach/outdoor vacation. We have always enjoyed the hiking trails, good food, and the many beaches. As an American, it is particularly nice to take a vacation in a place that is rarely visited by other Americans—a true getaway.
This is the best hotel we have stayed at in Baška. The price was quite reasonable for a Mediterranean beachfront hotel. The hotel is located in the center of things. Our room was bright, large enough, clean and had everything we needed. I think it was a suite—kitchen with table, living area/bedroom, with a porch (handy place to dry beach clothing, etc.). Breakfast was great, and the staff were exceptional (I think most are locals). The owners of the hotel are locals, and it really shows. If you need information about the area, they can help. The beach area was very convenient and pleasant.
If you are traveling to Baška, this is the place to stay!"
