"Location was great and right in the centre of Newbury. Apartment was equipped with everything needed for a stay away from home. The room was uncomfortably hot and the small amount the windows opened and fan were no use. Our shower was totally blocked but it was sorted. Cleanliness of the apartment was not to my standard. "

There was the sound of some sort of animal clawing in the walls or window. I didn't read the notice that I needed to ask for checkin instructions 72 hours beforehand until the day before departure. "Very well-appointed accommodation; immaculately clean and comfortable for 4 persons especially family or couples. The bathroom with the tub, unfortunately, did not have a shower curtain or any way water could be prevented from splashing on the floor which created a compulsory cleaning up of the too much water on the floor after bathing. "The listing advertised a hot tub, sadly there wasn’t one, which was most disappointing. One of the bedroom doors could not be closed due to the bed frame, the double bed was extremely uncomfortable. And the grass needs cutting. This could be a fantastic apartment if these issues were addressed. Sadly we cut our stay short by leaving a day earlier. The communication with the host and the cleanliness of the apartment was excellent."

"The Hawking is a really lovely apartment centrally located in Oxford (you cam see the castle from your balcony). The apartment is very clean and nicely furnished. You could sleep 3 or 4 people easily. We had trouble with the hot water but called Tim and got it fixed. I would definitely stay here again."

"The family room was just the right size for our visit. It was compact, but good for a place to sleep. My toddler could reach all the switches and the tv, which made it a bit difficult to keep her away from. The staff were kind and generous during our visit by providing coloring sheets and cereal when they asked. Our room didn’t get serviced the first time it was requested, but eventually was the following day. Easy access to a Pizza Express and a Welcome Break which make it convenient when wanting to get something to eat and relax in the room for the evening. Easy parking. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was decent."
