Enjoy the indescribable view of the mountains of the High Tauern and the local Salzburg cuisine at the chalets. The fresh mountain air will make you hungry. You can spend an active winter holiday in Dorfgastein. Children can try out skiing at the Dorfgastein/Großarl ski resort, under the guidance of instructors from the Gastein skiing school. The more advance can enjoy skiing or snowboarding on downhill pistes where snow is assured. You can warm up in rustic ski chalets. There are also various winter activities away from the pistes.
