The idyllic farm, a former inn, is located near the Saale river in the sleepy village of Tümpling, directly opposite Tümpling Castle.
A terrace/green seating area with a swing under a bluebell tree (incl. table, 2 folding chairs, garden lounger if required) is available for the exclusive use of holiday guests. Tree swings and other children's toys may also be used. Barbecues are available on request. 1-2 guest parking spaces directly in front of the apartment. The property is completely fenced. In the garden you can meet our 4 cats, chickens, a tortoise and two alpacas.
The holiday flat on the ground floor consists of a hallway (with wardrobe), kitchen-living room, bedroom and bathroom. The eat-in kitchen is equipped with a 4-burner cooker (ceramic hob, extractor bonnet), oven, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, fridge (incl. freezer compartment), pots, pans, spices, crockery and cutlery as well as a cosy dining area (table, 2 chairs, corner bench with 3 seats, radio with CD compartment). TV can be watched from 2 leather sofas and a leather armchair. The centrepiece of the large bedroom is a beautiful double wooden bed (1.4 m wide mattress), which sleeps 2 adults. There is also a bunk bed for 2 people (2.10 m long). Clothes can be stored in 1 large wardrobe (5 shelves, 1 long clothes rail with shelf above) and 1 chest of drawers. The cosy bathroom (renovated in 2025, with underfloor heating) includes a shower, bathtub (low entry), washbasin and toilet. The apartment is 65 square metres in size and centrally heated. It is most comfortable for 1-4 persons. It can accommodate a maximum of 5 adults.

A wide range of leisure activities are possible in the neighbourhood: Hiking (castles, palaces, ruins, orchids, extensive beech forests), cycling (Saale cycle path, sugar railway cycle path very close), rafting and canoeing on the Saale (canoe station within 5 minutes walking distance), wellness (thermal baths, (thermal baths, brine baths, climatic spas), wine tasting, horse riding, carriage rides, restaurant visits, cultural and historical strongholds Jena, Weimar, Naumburg with city tours (museums, theatre, planetarium, botanical garden, Göthehäuschen...) or cinema, summer concerts ... . Swimming in outdoor pools and lakes, also in the Saale at unknown Saale beaches. Visits to Stone Age sites such as Nebra, Goseck, burial mounds. Famous buildings on the Romanesque Road (Naumburg Cathedral, Rudelsburg Castle, Saaleck Castle ... ) are often within cycling distance of the holiday apartment. Tümpling has a wonderful playground and sports field. Inline skating or roller skiing is also possible on the nearby Saale cycle path.
