"Room 115: multiple patches of mold around the tub which you can smell just by opening the door (& with time seveloping sinus headache). Bucket under the sink to catch dirty drips from the seain pipe.) There is ready hot water. Not one hook or bar to hang your towel. In the room no hangers or hooks, paint chips and bare patches on the walls. There is a microwave & fridge. The owner will be offended if you express reluctance about staying."

"Great stay. The most comfortable bed I’ve had at a motel like this. Check in was super easy and quick. Probably / minute max since I prepaid. Location, despite being near the parkway, is quiet. Couldn’t hear a thing. Room was very clean with nice touches like soap and shampoo. If I could change one thing I’d add exterior lights to building, I had to use my phone flashlight to open door after dark. "I have stayed at enough hotels and every single one has had the same policy. A deposit on your credit card when you check in. This is my third time staying at this hotel and I have always found the young ladies working the front desk to be extremely helpful, polite, and the check-in process was always less than 2 minutes. I'll be back. "

"Front desk and all maintenance crew were friendly. I would like front desk folks to learn a bit more about the area to advise. But very accommodating and nice. 2 blocks to the beach, 3 blocks to little shopping district. Great location. Our room was great for our 2 night stay and we could've stayed there a week happily - balcony, separate bedroom with king bed, full kitchen/large fridge, stove, even toaster, blender; coffee pot was “ok” (might bring round filters/own coffee next time - is a small 4-cup machine). Included plates, wine bottle opener, nice pans/pots. I didn't see a cutting board. Had sofa bed which my 10 year old was happy with, I believe was Queen size. Rooftop Pool was nice, heated. Has an additional eating area at the rooftop. Quick OC review: Restaurants were a bit limited in Ocean City. Asbury Ave. has “hooked on breakfast” which was pretty good and affordable, 2 sub places on Asbury to grab sandwiches for the beach. I enjoyed the shopping by myself for a couple hours on Asbury Ave. Remember, OC is a dry town so go across the bridge for drinks, but get reservations. "
