Our room was near the reception and we heard everything. So really noisy. We only had towels for one person and the bathrooms are small. Beds were fine

Great hotel - will return when in Dortmund.

The room was exceptionally spacious, with plenty of storage space for clothes and belongings. One of the lights wasn’t working but to be honest I forgot to report it. It had a little fridge which was great for keeping my beers cool! The staff were really friendly and welcoming. I didn’t try the food as I was too busy so I couldn’t comment on that. Fantastic location with plenty of shops for everything, alcohol, cigarettes, snacks and cosmetics.

Room for improvement

Pictures were inaccurate and misleading. Initial impression was of a hotel which rents rooms by the hour! Convoluted access to the room and right at the top, up many flights of stairs. I was glad to be travelling light! Room was small with very little hanging space and only 2 hangars. Again, was glad I was only there for 1 night. Whilst the bed was comfortable, I was concerned about the cleanliness. The headboard was covered in detritus. WiFi did not work. Bathroom was adequate but I felt the need to clean the toilet seat! However, it was quiet and I was able to sleep on and off. On the positive side, all members of staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was also much better than I had expected. Please take a good look at the cleaning routine as this dragged the place down in my estimation!

The hotel is in the same market. It does not have its own free parking. I had a small room, the very small bathroom made me uncomfortable. There was no air conditioning. I went on a business trip, I stayed at this hotel because I didn't have many options. It was in the area closest to my business meetings and there were no other options nearby. The hotel is really not a bad hotel. If I have to return I would stay there again. Fair price for this type of hotel $40 to $80 per night. If you are going to pay more than that, I would think about it a lot. On a separate matter not related to the hotel, I would like to take advantage of this space to express my annoyance with Expedia. I am a platinum member who aspired to be a gold member. Because of Expedia's policies I have lost hundreds of dollars. I really had to go to other agencies to be able to resolve my trip to Germany since Expedia did not give me the support I deserved. 0 stars for expedia.

Es war alles sauber und auch alles vorhanden was man braucht. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Für jeden etwas dabei, alles frisch und immer ausreichend da. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfbereit. Allerdings muss man sich - je nach Zimmerlage - mit einigen Treppen anfreunden. Das Auto kann sicher in einer Tiefgarage schräg gegenüber abgestellt werden. In der Straße befinden sich viele Restaurants, Kiosks, ein Super- und Drogeriemarkt. Der Hauptbahnhof und die Innenstadt sind fußläufig in ca 10 - 15 Minuten erreichbar. Wir würden uns wieder für das Hotel entscheiden.

Das positive zuerst Handtücher und Bett waren sauber. Nun das nicht so schöne … sehr in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel, die Decke in der Dusche war schimmelig, in der Früh ist mir vor dem Hotel eine Ratte über die Füße gelaufen, im denke ich schlimmsten Teil von Dortmund gelegen, extrem hellhörig konnte ab halb 3 nicht mehr schlafen von meiner Seite das seit langem schlimmste Hotel wenn nicht sogar das schlimmste in Deutschland das ich je besucht habe.

Nous avions la chambre 111, près de l'accueil et les clients et les gérants peuvent parler hyper fort jusqu'à 1h du matin ! Aucun respect des clients. Le quartier fait peur, il est très glauque. Je ne recommande pas, je n'y retournerais pas.

Das Frühstück war super... Dass war leider auch alles was gut war. Die Zimmer waren nicht geheizt, dann haben wir festgestellt, dass 2 von 3 Heizungen nicht funktioniert. Warmes Wasser gab es auch nicht. Die Zimmer waren nicht sauber. Der Klorollenhalter kam mir entgegen, die Matratze hatte kein richtiges Bettlaken, sodass man jede einzelne Matratzenschicht sehen konnte. Auf dem Flur zum Zimmer roch es stark nach Gras. Mit einem Kleinkind durch so eine Kifferwolke zu müssen ist alles andere als schön. Es wurden Doppelbettenzimmer gebucht, damit das Kind in der Mitte schlafen kann. Ergebnis:es wurde zwei einzel Betten zusammengeschoben, was nicht sehr effektiv war. Es gibt keinen Fahrstuhl, wir müssten das komplette Gepäck alleine die Treppen hochschleppen bis unters Dach(und das mit Kind!). Es gab keine Parkplätze vor der Tür, sodass wir im Endeffekt am Bahnhof im Parkhaus parken mussten und dann zum Hotel gelaufen sind. Alles in allem eine riesen Enttäuschung. Das war auf jeden Fall das letzte Mal, dass wir dort gebucht haben!
