Since 2018 I've been staying in the Grey Hotel for over 50 nights in total but I don't find any reason to switch to another hotel. Located inside Wallring, 2 minute walk from Dortmund Hbf and staff is helpful. I'll keep using it when I have a business trip to Dortmund.

We enjoyed the rooms and the breakfast was nice. However, we were there on a very hot day until the lack of air conditioning was difficult for us to get a good night sleep. Unfortunately, we are used to air conditioning so this was difficult. The Dyson fans they provided Were helpful, however .

Alles wunderbar bis auf den Lärm. Ich war von Freitag bis Sonntag dort. Beide Nächte war Diskolärm und ordentlichen Bässen zu hören. Grauenhaft. Personal: super Frühstück: super Zimmer: modern und sauber Parkplätze können ebenfalls gebucht werden Zu Fuß zum Bahnhof, in die Fußgängerzone und zum Fußballmuseum.

The good points about this hotel, proximity to the train station and being central. Wide selection of food for breakfast, which was included in the price. Staff helpful. Wi-Fi good. Not so good, musty smell in the room. I’d paid extra for economy double, courtyard view is looking at car park rather than street. Was disappointed with the hotel after reading positive reviews was not what I had hoped / expected. Was only there one night.
