"Whitewater Inn is a beautifully restored property, giving a lovely feel for the history of both the area and the property itself, coupled with useful books about the area, wildlife and local eateries. Sadly, the downfall for us was breakfast! A promise of a visit in the evening to provide fresh pastries, muffins etc was, in reality, dated food, bread which had started to produce mould spores, dirty and empty butter dish and a very full bin in both the kitchen and downstairs loo. It was clear from an unmade-up room that someone stayed the night before and no-one had visited within that period. It just left us feeling a lack of cleanliness and care. "

"Visited here in the off season and was given one of the condos as our room for the night. Truly amazing, large open concept space of kitchen, dining and family room. Tastefully decorated. Spacious washroom with walk in shower and jacuzzi tub, and larger master bedroom. Even though the hotel was area was virtually closed, the wonderful staff brought us continental breakfast the night before to put in our fridge and coffee with cream. There was enough food for 6 people. I hope to come back here some time. Also close to the town where we dined for lunch based on their recommendation and dinner later. "

"Cottage is incredibly comfortable with many little details considered. Honestly the best cottage I've stayed in and i would absolutely book again. Watching eagles soar right out window, nest very easily spotted with the binoculars provided, was a highlight. Lake is beautiful and cottage feels like a good friends place, super welcoming."
