"Excellent room right on the beachfront. Reception staff was friendly and helpful with local recommendations. We had an oceanview room and it was brilliant. Location is very convenient and walkable to all food options and to the beach. Great option for a short or long stay."

"Wonderful spot to spend days relaxing. Very quite area . Beautiful garden. Lovely sunny deck out the front to enjoy a coffee or wine. The unit itself has everything you need. Plenty of room to spread out when staying with others. Jeff was very friendly and welcoming. Big bonus you can walk around Bicheno from this spot as everything is near by . Definitely be staying here again"

"A beautiful, quiet, environmentally respectful little haven, with superb views and lots of native wildlife. Don't expect mod-cons, but go prepared to enjoy off-grid living, in a comfortable little cabin with everything you need (kitchen, wood fire, comfy bed, spacious deck for eagle, earth and star watching). Although the checkin is contactless, the owner is in contact via email with warm, personal messages, is responsive and helpful if required. Thanks so much Peter! We loved it."

"The communication from Bicheno by the Bay was exceptional, making our check-in and checkout very simple (even considering we arrived after their reception had closed). We were given a larger room than we had booked, which was really lovely. It was well appointed with all the amenities we needed. It's situated in a great location close to all the local attractions and facilities (like the IGA). They provided a map of the local area and recommendations for where to go. We would happily stay here again. "
