"I did not realize that there would be a hockey tournament and other big groups for a wedding, etc. at this hotel. I should’ve expected that because it is the main hotel in downtown Peterborough, but it would not be good for somebody to stay there and assume that it will be quiet."

"Staff is kind and very helpful. Location is good, different restaurants near the area. The only thing that we were not comfortable is the parking that is in a different area."

"Our room was clean and attractive, the mini fridge worked great, even the freezer. Complimentary water, cookies, and coffee were appreciated. The shower pressure was excellent! The staff were friendly and responsive. The setting is beautiful and charming, right on the river. I'm hoping to stay at the Water's Edge every time I visit this lovely area."

"Cute super clean cabin! I’ve stayed in many places in Bobcaygeon and this is by far the best compared to others in the same price range! Nice view of the lake! Cozy fire place! Excellent mattresses!"

"There was a full sized fridge, microwave, coffee maker and the room was clean. Lots of plugs for recharging devices. Bathroom has an old tub with shower curtains. We didn’t care cause we were busy away from the room for most of the day. When you think of value for the money spent, it’s a good deal."

"Rooms were not to clean, there was not enough towels, drain in showers and sinks was not working. We rent few times from Vrbo company , this property is not up to their standards. Place was pet- friendly, beautiful scenery and good communication with the host"
