"We have stayed in a number of Gites in the Dordogne for a number of years now but this one is by far the best place we’ve stayed in. The location being 10 minutes drive to Bergerac airport and within easy access to the Bastide towns makes it an ideal base to explore the area. The property has everything you need and the manager, Chrystelle was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely return to Fontoursine again in future"

"Thé gite was a lovely home very well equipped with absolutely everything one could wish for. Loads of games to play and a beautiful swimming pool in front of the gite. Our hosts were friendly and very hospitable and available if needed but also respected the privacy of their guests. Thé gite is surrounded by fantastic vineyards… lots of wine tasting !! "We have had a disappointing experience with this vacation rental. All four of us have suffered from bed bugs. We initially thought we were dealing with mosquitoes. But the bites got so big and painful that it wasn't until later that we realized we were dealing with bed bugs. We complained about this to the landlord afterwards and it seemed only reasonable to us that they would refund half as our holiday enjoyment was seriously ruined.
