"Staff, food, general bar and entertainment areas all good. Some seats in lift areas on each floor would be helpful for people with mobility issues and parking was a problem. Room was a bit basic even for a standard twin and the beds were extremely narrow but it was well set out and clean."

"Best hotel we have stayed in when visiting family in Cliftonville over the past 2.5 years. If we were being picky then asked for decaf tea but actually given green tea, so had to be thrown away and no cranberry juice at the bar. Overall, it was an excellent hotel and definitely where we will be staying when we visit again. Staff were very helpful and a credit to the hotel."

"We thoroughly enjoyed joyed our stay. The hotel is beautiful and inviting. Breakfast buffet was wonderful and we really enjoyed our dinner in the Churchill lounge and Bar. Bathroom was great rnjoyed the heated towels!! Only comment,is our rooms floor slanted and so our heads were higher then our feet while sleeping and we felt lije we were slipping off the bed. . The slant also made you lose your balance. Other then that we loved it all."

"Staff were super friendly and the rooms and pub downstairs are done to a high standard. We brought our dog with us and they had treats ready for her which she loved. The brownies on arrival were delicious and the breakfast hash was also very good. Bed was also very comfortable. Only room for improvement would be there didn't seem to be a way to turn only the toilet light on, it turned the entire open plan bathroom lights on which can be annoying the middle of the night. Also, there's a few mirrors in the room (including pointing at the bed so you stare at yourself if sitting in bed) which could be removed or positioned better."

"Staff helpful and welcoming. Excellent deal with evening meal and breakfast. Very comfy beds. Refurb going on but no problem. We were late eating due to Calais to Dover ferry customs delays but staff were obliging. Would definitely stay again"

"A very old building but clean and the staff were very helpful. I had a fall while staying (not in the hotel) and Sandra on reception was very concerned and assisted with ice for my bruises and also fetched my bags down on our departure date. Would go there again but request a slightly bigger room. Ours was a little small for two adults trying to get ready to go out!"
