A very old house renovated to be a guest house. On the corner next to White Horse Pub and just down the hill from Dover Castle. Location is great. Narrow stairs to each room. Well-cared for property. We were treated very well.

Fantastic!

We booked the same day for 4 of us. Fantastic hostess, Farrah. My cousin and our Mothers, my cousin is pregnant so Farrah gave me a seperate room next door so we had 2 bathrooms at no extra cost. Great location, very warm and friendly atmosphere. All the places recommended to us in the area were great and we had a fantastic stay! Would highly recommend.

Very walkable to area locations. Historically old but cleanest place I think I have ever stayed. Remember that many places don't have AC and this is one but fans in rooms with full length window open to balcony in our room. Narrow stairway to rooms if that means anything to anyone. Was fine for us. Breakfast was buffet style, tasty and we still had personal attention with refills, etc. Host made sure we had transportation to the cruise port.

Liked absolutely everything about his guest house. We stayed the night before our cruise. They even arranged for our taxi to the ship the next day. Very welcoming, friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. Would absolutely stay again.

Stunning property and flexible checkin/checkout

The woman I spoke to was kind enough to let me check in several hours early, and I was upgraded to an absolutely GORGEOUS room and full bathroom including large bath and separate bidet. The location was fantastic; close to the middle of town and the local beach, quick walk (though very steep) to the castle, in between walks to the white cliffs in either direction. She also let me leave my bags late while I explored more before leaving for the cruise port. All in all, one of the most beautiful properties I've ever stayed at, with friendly, flexible customer service. Would definitely stay again if I'm in Dover, and I highly recommend it to anyone else.

We stayed as a group of 4 girls in the room with upto 4 people accommodating. I have to say that we never expected such an amazing and delightful experience at Hubert House. All thanks to Farah, who went out of the way to take care of us and looked after every little need and request for us. Without her and the amazing accommodation ....our trip to Dover is incomplete ! The breakfast served was so delicious and had so many options. The room was as expected in the picture shown during booking. We all were so happy to live in that beautiful and splendid room. We will surely return back. I would prefer Hubert House with my eyes closed over any chain hotels like Travelodge etc ! Thank you Team Hubert House and Farah for giving us such a memorable experience of a lifetime !

Nice weekend stay in Dover

Stayed for the weekend in Dover and the guest house was lovely. The staff are very friendly and had knowledge of local attractions. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were super comfortable, and the shower great. Breakfast was great, with a wide selection of things available.

Right next to a noisy bar so hard to sleep. Very mediocre breakfast. Lots of stairs so packing stuff up and down is a pain. Definitely not a family B and B
