The Monteray Hotel

"My room was a spacious studio on the ground floor and all the amenities I could ask for were available. The place was located in a convenient area with lots of other hotels, restaurants, night life, beach and convenient store. Most importantly it felt safe. Usually, I wake up late especially on vacation and hence I don't like being disturbed from my sleep. This was my only issue with my stay, because the lawn either at the hotel or surrounding areas were being mowed every other day, and the machine was very loud. Woke me up everytime."

"The rooms were cleaned twice per week; I would recommend to do this every other day. Even twice per week, they forget to clean the floors. They also forget to regularly fill up amenities such as coffee, milk, soap, shampoo. For me this was the 1st time to encounter a hotel that it was challenging to get enough shampoo. The beach is close by, however can be rough and difficult to swim in. The breakfast options where limited a la carte; 50% was not available. If want a perfect experience in barbados suggest to seek a hotel more north from this location."

"When i arrived I was greeted with a warm welcome & An option of an ice cold rum punch/ fruit punch cocktail. After we checked in, Our room's were available before the initial time. Later than evening we had lunch which was hands down gourmet to each carefully crafted and well seasoned with love dish. Staff had our bags brought up to our rooms with urgency. Staff makes you feel appreciated and taken care of."

"My stay at Hilton was absolutely amazing. Good food, helpful staff and amazing views. I booked a premium room which had lots of space, felt like home away from home. Highly recommend an upgrade once it’s within your budget."

"My mom and I thoroughly enjoyed how accessible, kind and accommodating the staff were. Their was very helpful from the time we arrived up until we left. The live music most nights was always a good way to end the day! This hotel was on the south end of the island and close to the airport as well. If you don't want to rent a car, choose the activities that offer a pick-up service and also try to book excursions the week before travel."

"Absolutely loved our stay!! The ocean front view was beautiful to see every morning. I loved every second of our visit we will definitely be staying again! The room was very cleaned, the staff were so helpful and kind. The only thing I would say was getting the 2 twin beds combined into a king was alittle uncomfortable but we made it work :) Overall 10/10"
