"It was okay there were few things that weren't up to par room was good the air conditioner for somereason was making us cough not sure what that was the breakfast was okay"

"I had just stayed there 5 nights prior in a different room. The room for this second stay was quite a different experience. We were on the first floor which was fine. In the first five minutes in the room I killed two spiders. There was a long black bug in the bathroom, along the tub, that was also addressed. There was a spiders nest up by the ceiling over the toilet and the beginning of black mold there and on the ceiling at the back of the tub. I need to use a cpap machine to sleep and needed to locate a plug. The ones provided in the base of the lamp would not support it. I slid the nightstand out a bit to access the plug there but the amount of dust and filth back there was disgusting. I didn’t want to put my hand down there for the plug. I have stayed at dozens of Hilton properties in my lifetime and never had this experience. I don’t know who manages the housekeeping staff at this particular location but they have a lot to learn about supervision of staff and maintaining standards. I may need to rethink my previous review about staying here again."

Garrison Hotel & Suites Dover-Portsmouth, an Ascend Collection Hotel

"Everything I needed was within reach. The room had a fridge and a microwave. There was a CVS within walking distance and also a restaurant. The Garrison had eggs, sausage, pancakes, bagels, cereal, served till 10 a.m. every morning. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again."

Homewood Suites by Hilton Dover

"We stayed in a suite and it was the perfect size for the 6 of us( 3 adults and 3 kids) The free breakfast was good and good choices for the kids. They have a grilling/ outdoor seating area and we cooked out 4th of July burgers there. The kids enjoined rhe indoor pool after spending the day at rhe beach. The suite had a stove, full size fridge, dishwasher. Laundry was also avail. I would highly recommend this place for a family who needs a bit more space. This was our home base for York Beach and Old Orchard beach."

"We had the best stay! We stayed for 9 days, our room was always cleaned and had new towels, the beds were comfy and the staff was amazing!!! Everyone was so kind and happy! The one thing we didn’t like was the parking was tight in the front but they didn’t tell us about the spaces in the back! There is another parking lot behind the building! The breakfast was perfect and always stocked up! Deff worth the stay!"

"Such a lovely retreat for a quick reset and relax. 10/10 on cleanliness, communication, and all of the spa amenities. Everything was absolutely perfect! Brigitte has such a beautiful place here nestled in nature and close to great restaurants and area attractions. We will definitely be back!!"
