"This house is on a small side channel of the North River, with a considerable marsh next to it. It's a quiet peaceful spot with gorgeous sunsets and especially sunrises. It's a ten minute drive or so into the main part of Beaufort. The house is comfortable and clean. We all agreed the beds were comfortable. The kitchen has all the basics (though no salt--bring your own) and the porch is wonderful for sitting outside and taking in the view. There are a few small maintenance issues that I expect will be fixed very soon. But over all it's just a great place--we have stayed here several times. And personally my favorite thing is sitting on the porch taking pictures of all the interesting birds!"

"Host was attentive. House is much older and needs some updating. It is very close to the highway and that made it difficult to sleep. Bring your own towels and paper produces. The sunroom is amazing and would be a good place to stay if you were passing through on a short stay."
