It is unique in the sense that it is out in the country on a country road at least 1,000’ from a major highway.....nice and peaceful. The traffic in roads to/from Cambridge

Excellent service and the food was fantastic. Great surroundings and restful and quiet sleep. Great place to be in

Wonderful staff! Friendly and extremely helpful. The food at dinner was wonderful. I would encourage those staying here to eat here as well. The breakfast was extraordinary. Very nice stay. This was my daughters favorite stay the whole trip! And air conditioning!!!!

Fantastic stay. This is the second time there and each time the rooms are very clean. The restaurant has great food and pub on site. Staff are very friendly. Parking is super easy and close to the rooms. It’s a lovely place and I will definitely stay there again.

We only had a one night stay while we took in a show in Ely. The staff were really happy and helpful. A small boutique establishment but steeped in history. Although there was maintenance work going on it didn't detract from a lovely experience, the whole building was still immaculately clean. Room was beautiful, I believe that all the rooms are individually styled and ours certainly had a little wow factor. It's also a great location to explore the beautiful city and all it has to offer. We had a big party staying here for a family wedding nearby. I don’t usually do these reviews but the Elveden was just outstanding. The place is lovely with nice rooms and a great lounge, bar and restaurant, but it was the staff who made this special. Friendly, competent and endlessly helpful dealing with our group, including arranging two large dinners at short notice. Strongly recommended!

Nice place to stay

Clean rooms, wifi worked well, and nice that they have air con.

Great staff and amazing location to stay and eat at.

Loved this place. Gorgeous little pub with large rooms in separate annex. Staff were all super friendly and accommodating, rooms were beautiful, clean and cosy and food (we had dinner and breakfast) was delicious. Highly recommend for anyone staying in or around Newmarket area.

Staff was so helpful.

The room was just the right size, but the only thing I would suggest is putting a small tray or rack in the shower for room #3. There's no where to put shampoos/conditioners, etc. when using the shower.

serve yourself breakfast worked well. the dining menu in the pub was excellent. a good selection of tap beers and spirits as well

The Packhorse Inn was a very pleasant inn to stay at for my business trip! The room itself was well air conditioned and the amenities were very comfortable. Any extras needed such as ironing board, etc were readily available from the staff. Had breakfast and supper multiple evenings of my trip and always enjoyed them throughly. Generous portions and reasonable pricing. The inn itself is located next to a quiet and quaint village which is a short few minute drive into Newmarket which is loaded...

This property is fantastic. The staff was very kind and welcoming. Beautiful stay!

Super easy to get in and out. Convenient location. Managers are helpful and always around to answer questions.
