"Great location and amenities."

"We checked into our room to find it had a commercial grade lung irritant running (rainbowair ozone generator) and wires in the floor. We were moved to another room that smelled like spaghetti and had stains on every possible surface. Be warned that there is no alternative offered to their absolutely horrible valet service. Rude, slow, and inattentive. I waited for 10 minutes after arrival only to the find the valet guy kicked up with his feet in the air and on his phone. When he finally noticed me through the glass, he came out and just looked at me. Truly amazing service, worth every penny of the $60/night Shower was gross and moldy.. Stovetop was cracked.. I could go on but I gotta stop somewhere. Bottom line: would not recommend and will not be back"

"Built in 1892, the Brown Palace has seen better days. The bathroom sink had cracks that encompassed the bowl. The ceiling had several patches of paint ready to fall, in addition to stains. One curtain rod was partially snapped off. There were few amenities i.e. shower cap. Staff processed my bill incorrectly. This is a Marriott BonVoy property."

"Conveniently located in a beautiful historic building. Unfortunately, despite the beautiful appearances, the 4 star experience just fell a little short of what we expected for a 4 star hotel. There were moments of delight such as our bags already being brought up to our room before we checked in later, but other things also fell short. For example, the AC in the room was not working properly so the staff had brought in a fan. On the next day as we were checking out, one of the staff at the concierge was not the friendliest, and her communications in regards to any outstanding charges were unclear and lacked transparency, which made things really confusing. There was also no one to help with orders when it came to that morning's breakfast. Overall, the hotel fell short of our expectations and we will not be returning."
