"Overall it was nice for an older hotel. We did have bugs but figured out it was the cleaning lady leaving the door open to clean. I did not think $500 for activities was worth it. I also would not recommend the restaurant on the beach, I was served warm salad with dairy. Finally, $100 to rent a lawn chair, how ridicioulous."
"Clean, everything you need right there! Our family of 5 stayed in a 2 bedroom suite that was gorgeous and had a kitchen and washer/dryer.
The restaurant food wasn't the best but it was so ice to have it right there onsite as an option!
We rented snorkels and beach gear right at the resort!
The beach was right there and our teens even saw a turtle and fish while snorkeling-it was a bit rocky so water shoes are recommended!

"We returned to Maui after 31 years, and we loved the island! The food and service at the Hyatt Regency Maui were excellent. This is a mature resort, and the lobby around the shop area could use a refresh. It has a beach, but be cautious of the strong waves. If you're planning to spend time at the beach, it's not advisable, as the beach appears to be eroding.
