"The hotel location is great, downtown of Ottawa but it has lots of homeless people in hotel area, even 3-4 homeless just sitting right in front of hotel entrance, lucky they didn't make trouble or noises. The next day checked out when we drove out the town we seem more homeless people in there, it seems the crime might come easily, we was worried. The hotel itself is quite good, boutique small but well managed as well, keep everywhere tidy and clean, we met the hotel owner, she is kind and...

"The location was great! Convenient for us to visit the Museum of Nature and the Rideau Mall, etc. We stayed on a Friday and a Saturday night. There was partying in other rooms. Had to sleep with airplugs. The shower contained two shower gels and one conditioner, no shampoo. A few minor issues. "

"The McGee Inn is conveniently located. The house has a historic charm and is very comfortable. The breakfast choices, quality, and presentation were excellent. One minor disappointment was that the bathroom in my room could only be accessed from the corridor. This was very inconvenient. I believe that this unusual layout may only be associated with Room 14."
