We had a great stay with no issues. The staff were very pleasant at every encounter. My son loved the Omni kid activity bag they gave him and the WiFi worked well for him.

We recently spent a week in Toronto and decided to experiment with a boutique hotel versus a known chain. We were thrilled with The Ivy. Small, at only 4 rooms, guests are pampered and indulged; the rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed from the uber comfortable bed, to the plush arm chair and private balcony. Clean room, lots of amenities, great city views

We ended up arriving 1 day too early and the hosts were super accommodating and made arrangements for us for the extra day within minutes! Finding the tiny entrance to the building next to Starbucks was confusing as a newbie to the area, but that's where the struggles ended. The entrance is secure with a guard at a desk. Side of property is under construction. Staff was helpful and prompt. Restaurant charged $4.00 per “unit” of tiny shrimp, which were overcooked. Restaurant service poor.

The hotel was quite nice and the staff were very helpful. There is a lot of construction around the hotel but we did know that when we were booking and it didn't really bother us. The one issue was that the room was quite dark. The walls and ceiling are painted a dark brown so any light in the room just wasn't reflected. They need to do something about that. Hotel is in an excellent location within walking distance from many attractions. We didn’t even need to rent a car except the day we drove to Niagara Falls and even the car rental place was within walking distance. Rooms are equipped with a full kitchen and kitchen utensils. Breakfast buffet every morning did not disappoint but arrive earlier than later as it gets more busy later.
