"We stayed here twice, mainly because of the very walkable location, close to a lot of restaurants, historic sights and the pedestrian-only part of Vitosha Boulevard. The rooms are clean, quiet, the beds are comfortable and the staff are helpful. The restaurant offers a reasonable breakfast selection. The floral mosaic walls are beautiful. However, the rooms are designed for style rather than convenience. One of the rooms had a glass wall between the bedroom and bathroom, offering no privacy except for a half-wall screening the toilet and bidet. The showers leaked onto the tiled floor. The lights go off momentarily from time to time, and one of the lights is turned on by a motion sensor which woke us up when it came on randomly while we were trying to sleep. There is no night-light to facilitate navigation to the bathroom at night, and the furniture layout is such that there is little space to pass by certain corners without tripping."

"Aris Hotel is central to everything. I walked to the bus station - 8 minutes. I walked up the Main Street over the lion bridge and to the part where all the icons are. I walked to everything and then on the way home had a delicious meal at Joseph’s. Aris is new and clean and comfortable and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. And there’s a lift. "
