"We had a great stay on the house boat. It was awesome to watch all of the boats go by on the large Amstel waterway. Great little seating area outside as well. One downside is the rooms air conditioning is kept a little hotter than comfortable for us with no way to turn it cooler. It was also a bit of a walk with luggage to the metro. Overall great stay though and I would absolutely recommend staying in a houseboat while in Amsterdam, it’s a unique and really cool experience. "

"This was the perfect place to lay our heads for our time in Amsterdam. Very close to many different attractions and plenty of restaurants and cafes. Roy was so accommodating and welcoming. We only stayed two days, but it made it easy to see the city in our short time here. Would recommend to anyone. The apartment is two bedrooms, a shower, a toilet and a kitchenette. Plus the owner has a beautiful dog that he will introduce you to :) Thanks again Roy! You are a great asset to any traveler....

"Host was wonderful and helpful with tip to get around. The little pub down the street was friendly and the food great at a very good price. It was easy to get into Central Amsterdam, however you probably only want to do it once a day. We found that after a day in the Central City we were too tired to return at dinner time. "The apartment is lovely and had most everything we needed for our 9 day stay, including a sweet little outdoor area along the front sidewalk. Richard is just upstairs and was responsive to our requests. He is willing to recommend activities and to drive guests with luggage. He picked me up from my river cruise dock when I arrived and dropped me off at the train station on the day I left. His fee for driving is very reasonable. "A unique spot and a unique room. Just be aware it is a typical old European(steep and narrow) climb to the rooms. Check in is in the bar/restaurant. They were very accommodating for my wife’s gluten allergy for breakfast and for supper. A little out of the way,but we used a park and ride to get into Amsterdam. "

"We had a wonderful stay and this is must visit place to make your holiday even more comfortable. Owner is very friendly and down to earth. Rooms are very cozy and there is alot of space to keep your belongings. Vintage dutch 3 storey house that has luxurious designed living rooms, bedroom and kitchen. Worth every penny and it is located right on the canal with amazing views and just a 5 min walk from the nearest tram station. I would be visiting again hopefully soon. "

"Absolutely incredible experience. The house is over 400 years old with all the amenities of a current modern home. The renovations that have been done are beautiful and maintain the feel of historic homes. And the location of the house is perfectly located for walking basically anywhere.
