"The hotel needs renovating but it wouldn’t take much to get it back to glory . Our room was lovely with a huge window overlooking a really pretty lawn onto the River. The restaurant wasn’t operating but the bar staff really accommodating for us to bring take away to it . The breakfast , included , was great and the breakfast chef lovely .Glengarriff is a much better option for cute pubs and cafes but Ouvane Falls was very cheap so I’d recommend for a different experience . "

"Where to start? Simply the best B&B we have ever stayed at. Josephine and Barry are amazing hosts. Greeted like old friends and offered a drink while we chatted in the lovely communal lounge with them. It's about a 25 minute walk into the lovely town of Bantry along safe pavements all the way there and back. The room was amazing. "Even before we arrived we had had a phone call from Susan regarding arrival time, how to find property, etc. Susan went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to ensure every single thing had been taken care of. "What a beautiful place to say. The cottage was spotless when we arrived and is equipped with everything you need. "As advertised, this property was very close to the sea with most stunning views from the massive sliding lounge doors. The house is calm and quiet and is comfortably furnished. Its eco-friendly credentials are amazing. Housekeeper Angela welcomed us to the property and answered any questions promptly. We had 6 lovely days there which included a visit to Cork and numerous visits to beautiful Clonakilty."
