It’s clean, and the property isn’t run down. I didn’t have to dodge potholes like the last one I stayed at that extremely close by. No awful smells and it was a safe location."

"Everything was just fine about this hotel room and their staff. The only thing I noticed is that there shower floor could use a good scrubbing, but I think they are aware of that being that there are bathmats available for use as well. But then again that could be just for people who have a tendency to slip in the shower. But with everything else being so clean, I’m pretty sure the floor of the shower is clean. It’s just has wear and tear through time to it, but it’s not bad at all just a little noticeable. But overall, I love this hotel."

"The hotel room was clean and everything was where it should be. The pillows were iffy in texture but the mattress was really comfortable. I had to remove a bulb in the bathroom that was flashing. The front desk was a little overwhelmed (VERY busy weekend for them!) and didn’t seem interested in my explanation. I think one of the drawers in the closet may have been broken and the shower door did not stay closed. The counter in the kitchenette was also burned but again, minor details and the room was clean. Also, I’m not sure if it was because of the construction outside but upon returning to the hotel Saturday, throughout the day, the first floor smelled strongly of sewage. No bug signs in the room, large scary spider outside in the parking lot that didn’t want me to come inside but we negotiated and I was allowed in the building. I would have been happy to stay there again, however, at 10:30 (an hour and a half before check out) a man was pounding on my door yelling laundry. I was in the restroom, so I can only assume that if I’d been in the shower I wouldn’t have heard them and they would have walked in. Additionally, I had been assigned to a room for the hearing impaired; so I can assume that they were bypassing that protocol for the lights outside as well. It was honestly very jarring and as a woman staying alone, rather frightening. Additionally, as stated, it was an hour and a half before posted checkout times so it stands to reason I could have possibly been asleep."
