I ended up staying at this hotel due to my mother being hospitalised nearby, and I needed to extend my stay. First and foremost, I must commend the exceptional staff across all departments—they were truly amazing. However, the hotel itself could benefit from some updates. The facilities show signs of wear and could use renovation and a bit more attention to detail. Despite this, it was overall a clean environment, the food quality was good, and the pricing was reasonable. Most importantly, during my emergency stay of over two weeks, it provided a safe and comfortable accommodation.

Not a 4 star hotel by any means - submitting a formal complaint to DET Dubai to take away their rating and do a formal review. Checking in - took very long time. I've been staying in hotels for half a decade now and I know that a twin bedroom is same price as single kind bedroom, but when I asked whether my uncle could come and stay for a few nights in a twin bedroom they asked to charge additional 100 AED per night for an additional guest. Then why does the expedia listings show "sleeps up to 3"? What extra amenities or services will an additional guest use thats charging the hotel 100 AED additional? That's stealing. When i reached my room I noticed EVERYTHING was dirty, bed headboard had marks of spitting or some dirty fluid on it, the tray where coffee cups were placed had dirty scratches on it, the bedding just seemed dirty also. The washroom - NO TOWELS AT ALL! I called the reception, nobody picked up, i called again, they picked up, I asked for towels they said on the way. 30 minutes passed by, 40, 50... i eventually went downstairs and asked for towels, the receptionist apologized, called a staff IN FRONT OF ME, he said he is on the way. I went back to my room, started watching netflix on my laptop and realised after another HOUR that nobody came with the towels. I went down again, the receptionist apologized again, and the staff was called again and they finally brought it. The work staff is just a bunch of slackers who don't like to work at all. Pros - Good location. Beautiful and spacious room and much reasonable ammenities. Great nightlife options on property. Cons - Bed and pillow could be more. comfortable for a 4 star hotel. Colored decorative pillow a bit stained. Carpet in room needs cleaning. No power outlet next to bed.

Leuk modern hotel maar weinig geluidisolatie.

Het pand is heel gehorig, van buiten vliegtuigen horen de hele tijd, van binnen Aurora nightclub: veel harde muziek tot heel laat nacht/begin van ochtend; slaapproblemen hierdoor. Personeel super vriendelijk, kamer voorzien van zeer nieuwe technische bediening van lampen en gordijnen (Aan/uit).

Vraiment très bruyant la nuit

L'hôtel est dans un quartier sympa (vieux Duba1î) avec pleins de restaurants, commerces, souks... ouverts o toute heure. Le personnel est vraiment très agréable. Seul Bémol, les avions qui passent juste aussi et 2 boite de nuits dans l'hôtel qui font énormément de bruit jusqu'à 4h du mat.

Établissement a fuir 3 boîtes de nuit au sein de l’établissement nuisance sonore tous les soirs personne alcoolisé qui crient. À la tombée de la nuit il y a de la prostitution à l’entrée de l’hôtel à la vue de tous . Pas recommandé pour les familles. Nous avons réservé une chambre dans l’établissement pour profiter du roof top avec la piscine à notre grande surprise impossible de rester sans consommé, on nous a obligées à prendre une boisson pour pouvoir prendre l’air et s’installer quelques minutes. Point positif les employés sont des personne adorable grâce à eux le séjour a été moins catastrophique. Merci à eux

Noisy, early “wake up call”

Unfortunately the hotel is located in the entry / exit lane / path of the airport. So there are constantly planes in the air. Some guests might also be not expecting the nearby mosque’s call to prayer from 5 am or so to be rather prominent, too. Just facts to be aware of.

The hotel design is nice and the staff friendly, they gave us good amenities in the room. There are plenty of regular shops around, the area is a bit too crowded with commerce and vendors, the bedroom and bathroom had this unpleasant smell coming from the drainage which didn’t go away, the bath tub walls need better scrubbing as they look really dirty in between the tiles, perhaps months or years of not proper cleaning.

Hues Boutique Hotel was generally a good experience. Beds were comfortable, tv and table/chair if you have some work to do. Rooms were spacious and washroom was decent. Staff was generally friendly and helpful too. Internet was great! It was a steady connection, no matter what time of day and was plenty fast (15MBPS on average). Only issues I experience was Hotel can get a little noisy on the upper floors thanks to the club music whose bass can be heard up into the late night--not ideal for those who want some peace and quiet. Gym was decent and the pool too (both free). The sauna/steam room /hot tub, although apparently included (see brochure/pdf) it wasn't actually included for free, you have to book a pricy session with the hotel SPA in order to use those facilities--that was a downer for me, as I passed up other hotels because my understanding was Hues Hotel would have a sauna I could use. Last thing to note is that the nearest metro station is a bit of a walk from the hotel -- at least 10-15mins walk..not the worst, but not ideal.
