Below par! We even had dried blood on bedding :(

On arrival we text the owner to see if we could check in earlier than 4pm, we received a very prompt and polite text back stating that the apartment would be ready by 11am and we were very happy with them allowing us to check in early, off to a great start! We then collected the keys from a local shop as advised in email, this took a while as to start with the shop didn’t seem to know about it but after 10 mins of trying to explain we managed to get the key (shops fault not owners). The area was a little ropey, quite a lot of what appeared to be drug users were loitering around outside but that being said, the complex was secure through a gate and we never really felt unsafe as there were 4 of us together, location was good in terms of temple bar being only a 5 minute walk away and Guinness storehouse the same but in the other direction, it did however get noisy at night and this wasn’t helped by the fact we couldn’t close one window due to being dead bolted open, we didn’t get in touch with the owner about this or the other issues as we only stayed two nights and didn’t want to waste time trying to get it sorted as our stay was short, the shower pressure was not good and it took us about an hour to locate how to turn on hot water as there were no instructions left for us, the tablet left in the room had no charger and the tv had no remote so we couldn’t use it, the apartment felt a little run down like it could use some TLC as for just under £2000 for a weekend it was well
