Eagle Nest - Modern log home with a panoramic view over mountains and river.

50 acres at 8000ft (2400m) situated on the east side of Togwotee Pass on the dividing line between the Absoroka and Wind River Ranges with stunning views over the mountains, and the Wind River Valley and River. As far as the eye can see, there is no house built higher than this home. A partner property with the adjacent Big Diamond Ranch. Snowmobile and ATV access to the Shoshone National Forest north and south from the doorstep.

Built of local lodgepole pine with natural wood floors and accents of marble throughout the house. The wooden logs give the house a warm feel. When a window is opened, a cool mountain breeze will fill the room. Air conditioning is not necessary at this altitude.

Elk, deer, moose, antelope and eagles are often seen through the windows. Bears are more elusive so they are best seen 10 miles up the road near the Continental Divide or about 1 hour down any ATV trail.

At 12 miles west of Dubois, it is a good gateway to Grand Teton, or Yellowstone, or the slopes and attractions of Jackson Hole.

Town is 15 minutes away with stores, bars, restaurants and a weekly rodeo in the summer.

Excellent Property

Buddies flew in for a trip and we stayed at the Eagle Nest. This is an EXCELLENT location. Home is extremely well appointed, spacious and in great condition. Location on top the hill was phenomenal. Fire pit and outside deck was so amendable to end of day enjoyment.

Beautiful home with fantastic view

My family and I had a wonderful vacation at this beautiful home. It was a great place to wind down and relax while enjoying our coffee on the front deck taking in the incredible views. Although nicely secluded, it was only a sort trip to Dubois to a number of very good restaurants. The property manager was extremely responsive to our questions. This trip was a family favorite!

Amazing

The Eagles Nest is an amazing property! The view....what can I say...there are no words. Steep driveway, but we were able to make it up with our pickups and trailers. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Wonderful Property

We had an amazing 4 day stay with my family and made so many memories. The property is even better than described. The views are stunning and everything you could need is thought of. The host and her son were very responsive with communications. It’s a little over an hour to Jackson and The Grand Teton NP. The little town of Dubois is about 15 minutes away and has a grocery store, Family Dollar, and a couple of great restaurants. I hope to return again sometime.

Wedding in dubois

We were so happy to find this home, it was perfect for our little family and my in laws little family. We each took to our own levels with the common kitchen/living area upstairs. Kathrin couldn’t have been any friendlier and helpful. We would stay again for sure. Beautiful home and an incredible view even some of the locals to Dubois were impressed with!

Mountain Chic Wedding

The property is more amazing then the pictures. A picture does not do the house and view justice. Andreas was there upon our arrival and very personable. He was back a few days later and chatting with him about his life experiences was enjoyable. My husband and I along with 3 other friends were there for a wedding just down the road. The spacious kitchen and deck allowed us to host a small dinner for a few more friends prior to the local Friday night rodeo. I highly recommend the house and we are looking to come back for a Fall Hunting or Winter snow fun trip! Andreas good luck with your surfing trip! Karla

Old friends getaway.

Perfect Cabin

We live close by, but wanted to take our grandchildren to a fun, rustic setting for Thanksgiving break (we were babysitting while parents traveled). This cabin was perfect. Very comfortable in every way, with plenty of towels, shampoo, etc, dish soap, paper products provided. Excellent communication with owner. We hope to stay again!

Comfortable house. Very well-equipped kitchen. Excellent grill outside. The driveway is not for the faint of heart. 4 wheel drive is definitely helpful. There's great hiking nearby, Yellowstone and Grand Teton within 90 minutes in one direction. Fantastic climbing in Lander within 90 minutes in the other direction. Dubois is a nice town. (Check out the rodeo Friday nights during the summer.)

Great Getaway!

We had the best time at Eagles Nest. The views are spectacular and the house is beautiful. The driveway was very steep. It was fine for our vehicle with 4 wheel drive, but would be been difficult without it. It was further from the Teton's and Jackson than I thought it would be, but we made the most of it and enjoyed the town of Dubois and hiked around the house. We also went to the local rodeo which was so much fun!

Stunning Stay in the Tetons!!!!

Words wont do this property justice! If you are looking for the perfect mix of seclusion, yet something close enough to everything!! (Jackson Hole, Dubois, Hiking, fishing etc etc) then this is your place!! Eagles Nest is a beautiful property just off of HWY 26, with great views of the area. The house itself had everything you could possibly need, large perfect bedrooms and bathrooms and even a sauna! The clear sky evenings around the fire pit cannot be beat! Kathrin was such a great host, who answered any questions we had! Do not hesitate to rent this property!!!

Gorgeous home in a great location for a family getaway

We stayed at the Eagle’s Nest for a week and the house was just about perfect! Beautifully decorated and immaculately kept with everything you need plus a large TV with a million channels, a fantastic deck to watch sunrises and sunsets, a fire pit for roasting marshmallows and comfy beds to crash after busy days out in nature. The house is 10 minutes from the cute town of Dubois where you have great food and coffee and really friendly people. We loved the Outpost for breakfast and the Cowboy Cafe for lunch. The grocery store was there for stocking up. Kathrin, the property manager was amazing and helped us arrange for horseback riding and fly fishing excursions (last minute because we didn’t have time to plan ahead). She also checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. We spent several days in Jackson kayaking and shopping plus various hikes and stops in the Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. Not too far from the house is Brooks Lake (gorgeous lake at the foot of the Breccia cliffs) which we hiked around one morning. Our week in Wyoming was fantastic and the house was great. I have to add that our kids forgot to pack up the charger for their Nintendo when we left to come home and Kathrin immediately contacted us to let us know she would be sending it to us. Truly above and beyond!

Stunning views from a stunning home

This was the perfect home to finish up an exhausting 5 week road trip in. Our family of 7 each had their own beds and space and we enjoyed the beauty of the house and the views. The location was incredible. A few miles to the east is desert-like red rock formations and the charming town of Dubois with shops and restaurants (we ate a great meal at The Lone Buffalo). A few miles to the west is the mountain pass leading to Grand Teton NP and Yellowstone. We enjoyed sitting on the covered deck and taking in the views of the hills, but there were views from almost every window as well. Katherin stopped in to check on us and gave us some helpful recommendations. We would love to return someday!
