We stayed off the main property in the townhouses along the canal, and it felt so private. "I have mixed reviews. The staff was very helpful, especially the lobby bartender, Marcus. The grounds and the pool area are very nicely maintained. The location is very close to Bud and Mary's marina, where my husband booked a half day fishing charter. Also, very close to the Midway Cafe- excellent coffee and key lime pie! My main complaint would be the rooms. They definitely need some upgrades. Our room smelled musty and the hallway did also. Mildew stains on the patio curtains....

"The parking area is huge compared to the number of rooms for rent. Only met the property manager on check-in. Very nice. Has lived in the Keys for over 40 years. The window A/C was very strong and lound for the small space. The room was small but included 2 very nice bed end tables, TV, Refrigerator, but no freezer, round table and chair and of course a TV. The tiled floor was a nice touch. Very clean. The buildings a spread far enough apart you don't hear much from the other renters. "
