"The room was great, really cozy and e perching you need. Tv had all the streaming services. Netflix, YouTube, prime etc stunning view over the much and down to scheihallion covered in snow. Only issue was the check in time which st 4pm is pretty late, I spoke to the lady in the next lodge to us who said they let her check in at 2. So we spent 2 hours up at the main hotel waiting. "What a fabulous property! Stay in a former castle that has been painstakingly updated for comfort. There's not a more convenient and centrally located space whether traveling by train (the hotel is visible from the station) or car with parking onsite. Great breakfast overlooking the garden and several spots for drinks and gathering. A must for any bucket list and don't miss the Pitlockry Festival theater productions while you're there."

"The rooms were very hot, the windows were open but still didn’t help with ventilation. The heating system seemed to be on as the pipes were hot. It was very uncomfortable in the room. We eventually asked the front desk for a fan, which they gave us off the front desk. The picture of the bedroom they sent with my receipt, was definitely not the room were given. The beds were smaller. Killin is a lovely town and we enjoyed our time there, just a little disappointed with accommodation"
