I like to give good reviews, but couldn't do it for this place. Liked: Convenient to our tour location. Actual room was clean enough. Disliked: Hotel smelled unclean. Carpets in the hallway and dining area smelled like sour food. Dining area was not clean: cereal crumbs everywhere. Hot water and coffee dispenser tasted like burnt plastic. Boiled eggs didn't look sanitary: they were already peeled and in refrigerator, from at least the day before. Worst place that we've ever stayed at.

For the price this was a good stay. Don’t expect much, although the sauna is a good add. Check in was easy and straightforward. The hotel premises show age. Room is somewhat good with everything you need (hair dryer, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker). Breakfast is the basic of the basic. This is a good place for a quick stay in Duluth on the way to your final destination. Close to everything in Duluth. If you’re looking for a place to sleep and leave this is the place. Overall would stay again if it was only one night, for more than one night I would look at somewhere else.
