Small town parks just outside the big city are a great way to spend a Friday evening unwinding from the weekly stresses. A couple sit together enjoying the relaxing atmosphere while engaged in conversation. They huddle together as the warm day relinquishes its grasp to a cool evening.
Friday afternoon on Atlanta roads are much like any other major city; utter gridlock. Gwinnecians (Gwinnett County residents) really do have something to rush out of town for. The quaint city center in the heart of Duluth, Georgia host Food Truck Fridays from May through September. It is an inviting family atmosphere with great food and live music. Oh, and as the little Mann said “Water foun-tin”. If you are rushing to get to this festive gathering, I completely understand your rush. If you’re near on a Friday bypass your usual Friday Mexican restaurant and drop into Duluth.

The city on lockdown was rough, the hotel couldn't offer any food or breakfast. Bare bones staff made for a unkempt lodging. But its better than being out in the rain.
